The Ingham County Board of Commissioners met for a special meeting at the above time and place. The meeting was called to order at 6:01 p.m. by Chairperson Celentino. Roll was called and all Commissioners were present, except Commissioners De Leon, Hertel, Holman, Severino and Weatherwax-Grant. Commissioner Hertel arrived at 6:03 p.m. Commissioner Severino arrived at 6:07 p.m. and Commissioner Weatherwax-Grant arrived at 6:10 p.m.



PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE:

Tyler Vickers from the Ingham County Youth Commission, led the Board in the Pledge of Allegiance and a few moments of silence were observed for meditation.



LIMITED PUBLIC COMMENT:

None.



COMMITTEE REPORTS AND RESOLUTIONS:

Moved by Commissioner Lynch, supported by Commissioner Schafer to move into Executive Session to discuss the possible settlement of pending litigation with Lansing Township. Motion carrie on a roll call vote, with Commissioner Thomas voting no, all others voting yes. Absent: Commissioners De Leon, Holman, Severino and Weatherwax-Grant.



The Board moved into Executive Session at 6:05 p.m. The Board returned to Open Session at 7:02 p.m. Moved by Commissioner Lynch, supported by Commissioner Schafer to direct the county attorney and staff to develop a proposed agreement with Lansing Charter Township, based on the "Agreement in Principle", and to bring such proposed agreement back to the Board of Commissioners for its consideration in it's normal committee process, including any public hearings as may be required. Motion carried, with Commissioners Minter, Swope and Thomas voting no, all others voting yes. Absent: Commissioners De Leon and Holman.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 7:04 p.m.
