Introduced by the:

INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

WHEREAS, the Del-Hi-Ho= s are a dedicated group of senior citizens who formed a band over 20 years ago; and

WHEREAS, this talented group has appeared throughout the community playing kazoos, harmonicas, tambourines, maracas, the keyboard and auto harp; and

WHEREAS, the Del-Hi-Ho= s have entertained at nursing homes, including the Ingham Medical Care Facility, schools, various festivals and fund-raisers such as the A Festival of Trees@ , A Holt= s Tree Lighting@ and have made an appearance in the monkey house at Potter Park during the Christmas celebration, and

WHEREAS, on one very special occasion years ago, the Del-Hi Ho= s were asked to play for the Pope at the Henry Ford Centennial Library in Dearborn.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby honor the Del-Hi-Ho= s for the countless hours they have devoted to bringing joy to the citizens of the County of Ingham.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board sincerely appreciates their dedication and wishes them continued success in the years to come.
