RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGING THE CLERK/RECEPTIONIST POSITION IN THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS= OFFICE FROM SPECIAL PART TIME STATUS TO PERMANENT PART TIME

RESOLUTION #00-169

WHEREAS, Resolution #98-91 created a special part time Clerk/Receptionist position within the Board of Commissioners= s Office to assist with clerical support for various boards and commissions; and

WHEREAS, the number of boards and commissions requiring the clerical support of the Clerk/Receptionist position has increased significantly during the past year; and

WHEREAS, this position is currently budgeted for 17 hours per week and an additional 3 hours per week would allow for a more stable and effective clerical support system to meet the increased demand for services.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes changing the Clerk/Receptionist position in the Board of Commissioners= Office from special part time status to permanent part time status.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the FY 2000 and 2000 Position Allocation Lists be amended

to reflect consistency with this resolution.
