RESOLUTION TO REIMBURSE THE REGISTER OF DEEDS

IMPREST CASH ACCOUNT

RESOLUTION #00-182

WHEREAS, the Register or Deeds Office collects over $1.5 million annually in transfer taxes and other fees; and

WHEREAS, a loss of $97 was discovered resulting in a cash drawer shortage; and

WHEREAS, the Director of Financial Services has been consulted and agrees that the loss is minimal when compared to the amount of revenue received.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners approves a charge of $97 against the Register of Deeds= supply line item to reimburse the Register of Deeds imprest cash account.
