Introduced by the Human Services and Finance Committees of the:

INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

WHEREAS, Ingham County annually enters into a Comprehensive Plan Budget and Contract (CPBC) Agreement with the Michigan Department of Community Health (MDCH) to define State and Federal funding support for services to be provided in Ingham County and to establish service program requirements; and

WHEREAS, Ingham County has an executed 1999-2000 CPBC Agreement with the MDCH, authorized in Resolution No. 99-175 and amended by Resolution No. 99-270; and

WHEREAS, there have been program and funding changes proposed and implemented since the agreement was executed and there is mutual need to amend the CPBC Agreement to bring it up-to-date before the end of the 1999-2000 Fiscal Year; and

WHEREAS, the Health Officer has recommended that the Board of Commissioners authorize the proposed amendment to the 1999-2000 CPBC Agreement and advises that the changes will have no effect on County appropriations to the Health Fund.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes an amendment to the 1999-2000 Comprehensive Plan Budget and Contract Agreement with the Michigan Department of Community Health.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the total State and Federal funding made available through the Agreement shall increase by $22,800 from $5,029,139 to $5,051,939.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Controller is authorized to adjust the Health Department= s 1999-2000 budget to implement this resolution.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board Chairperson is authorized to sign the amendment after review by the County Attorney.
