Introduced by the Human Services and Finance Committees of the:

INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

WHEREAS, the 2001 Ingham County Budget has been approved by the Board; and

WHEREAS, under the Community Agency Program a number of agencies have been allocated funds to provide important services that are consistent with the County= s Strategic Planning Objectives to Ingham County residents; and

WHEREAS, the Human Services Committee is recommending a supplemental appropriation to Community Agencies from within the 2001 budget allocation for Human Services.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby directs the County Attorney to draft contracts or contract amendments for the period January 1, 2001 through December 31, 2001 for each Community Agency, in accordance with the dollar amounts allocated in the 2001 Budget as stated below, and for the services to Ingham County residents previously approved by the liaison committees:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairperson of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and the County Clerk are authorized to sign any necessary contract documents consistent with this resolution and approved as to form by the County Attorney.
