Introduced by the Law & Courts and Finance Committees of the:

INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners contracted with Highfields, Inc. to operate the Family Court Five-Day Attention Program from January 1, 2000, to December 31, 2000; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners approved $220,595 during the 2001 budget process in line item 292 66206 818000 to fund this program.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes entering into a contract with Highfields, Inc. for a total cost not to exceed $220,595 to operate the Five Day Attention Program from January 1, 2001 to December 31, 2001.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners and County Clerk are authorized to sign any contract documents consistent with the resolution subject to the approval as to form by the County Attorney.
