INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners contracted with House Arrest Services, Inc. to operate the Family Court Electronic Monitoring Program from January 1, 2000, to December 31, 2000; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners continued funding for the Electronic Monitoring Program in line item 292 66217 818000 during the 2001 budget process.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes entering into a contract with House Arrest Services, Inc., for a total cost not to exceed $21,000 to operate the Family Court Electronic Monitoring Program from January 1, 2001, to December 31, 2001.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairperson of the Board and County Clerk are authorized to sign any contract documents consistent with this resolution subject to the approval as to form by the County Attorney.
