Introduced by the Administrative Services/Personnel and Finance Committees of the:

INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

WHEREAS, in 1997 the Purchasing Department solicited proposals for desk-top delivery of office supplies and US Office (formerly DBI Office Interiors) was awarded that contract for a one year term; and

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Department has reviewed the contract and met with user departments to receive their evaluation of the contract and service and US Office is in agreement on extending the present contract; and

WHEREAS, positive responses were received from the user departments the Purchasing Department recommends that the County extend the desk-top delivery of office supplies with US Office in accordance with their proposal dated February 28, 1997.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes a one year extension on the contract with US Office for desk-top delivery of office supplies starting on July 1, 2000, and terminating on June 30, 2001.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairperson of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and the County Clerk are authorized to sign any necessary contract documents consistent with this resolution and approved to form by the County Attorney.
