Introduced by the Law & Courts and Finance Committees of the:

WHEREAS, Ingham County Sheriff= s Office Canine A Cruiser@ was first put into service in September, 1993; and

WHEREAS, A Cruiser@ has faithfully served the Ingham County Sheriff= s Office for approximately 7 years; and

WHEREAS, due to Cruiser= s matured age, it is time Cruiser retire from the Ingham County Sheriff= s Office; and

WHEREAS, Sergeant Eric Trojanowicz has been partnered with Cruiser for the past five years; and

WHEREAS, Sergeant Trojanowicz has requested that Cruiser, through the transfer of title, be placed in his possession.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the retirement and transfer of title of A Cruiser@ to Sgt. Eric Trojanowicz; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners acknowledges the outstanding performance and accomplishments of A Cruiser@ and wishes him well in his retirement.
