RESOLUTION HONORING FRED LOWE

RESOLUTION #03-122

WHEREAS, Fred Lowe began his career with the Ingham County Sheriff's Office in December of 1974, when he was hired as Intake Referral Coordinator; and

WHEREAS, during his tenure with the Ingham County Sheriff's Office he was responsible for the coordination of programs for the inmates at the Correctional Center; and

WHEREAS, Fred is also a three time United States Olympian in weightlifting and six time world masters champion; and

WHEREAS, Fred was the recipient of the Clairol Corporation's Personal Best Award in 1991; and

WHEREAS, after 28 years of dedicated service, Fred Lowe is retiring from the Ingham County Sheriff's Office.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby honor Fred Lowe for his many years of service to the County of Ingham and its citizens.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board wishes him continued success in all of his future endeavors.
