INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION CONCURRING WITH A COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE INGHAM COUNTY PROBATE COURT AND THE PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES OF THE PROBATE COURT AND PROFESSIONAL EMPLOYEES INTERNATIONAL UNION (OPEIU) LOCAL 459, AFL-CIO

WHEREAS, an agreement has been achieved between the Ingham County Probate Court and the OPEIU on a Collective Bargaining Agreement for January 1, 2003 through December 31, 2005 covering the Professional Employees in the Probate Court; and

WHEREAS, the provisions of this agreement are consistent with Board guidelines; and

WHEREAS, the County Services and Finance Committees concur with the agreement.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Collective Bargaining Agreement with the OPEIU for Professional Employees in the Probate Court is hereby recognized upon the signing of the contract by the OPEIU representatives and the Chief Probate Judge. Further, no wage increase or retro pay shall be given until the contract is signed by all parties.
