INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION TO CHANGE THE CLASSIFICATION OF A VACANT NURSE POSITION

RESOLUTION #04-200

WHEREAS, the St. Lawrence Health Center has a nurse retiring; and

WHEREAS, the retiring nurse is a Public Health Nurse and the Health Center Administrator has advised that the demand at the Health Center is for a Health Center Nurse, and has recommended that the vacant position be reclassified from Public Health Nurse II to Health Center Nurse; and

WHEREAS, the Health Officer has advised that he supports the recommendation of the Health Center Administrator and recommends that the Board of Commissioners act to reclassify the vacant position.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the vacant position HLHSAT005 to be reclassified from Public Health Nurse II (ICEA PHN3) to Health Center Nurse (ICEA Nurse1) effective June 26, 2004.
