INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN EXTENSION OF THE AGREEMENT FOR PAYROLL AND EMPLOYEE SERVICES BETWEEN INGHAM COUNTY

AND THE CAPITAL AREA DISTRICT LIBRARY FOR 2001

RESOLUTION #01-09

WHEREAS, Ingham County has provided certain payroll and employee services to the Capital Area District Library since 1998; and

WHEREAS, the Capital Area District Library has requested to extend this agreement through 2001; and

WHEREAS, Ingham County is agreeable to assisting the Capital Area District Library in this regard.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes extending the agreement between Ingham County and the Capital Area District Library for payroll and employee services for calendar year 2001, under the same terms and conditions of the existing contract with Capital Area District Library paying Ingham County for all costs associated with providing these services.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that if the contract is extended beyond December 31, 2001, it is the intent of the County to recover the administrative costs.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board Chairperson and County Clerk are authorized to sign the agreement extension as drafted by the County Attorney and recommended by the County Controller.
