RESOLUTION HONORING DEPUTY JAMES MILLS
RESOLUTION #01-135
WHEREAS, Deputy James Mills was employed with the Ingham County Sheriff's Office for twenty five years; and
WHEREAS, James graduated from the 21st Mid-Michigan Policy Academy in 1976 and is a Military Police veteran with the U.S. Army; and
WHEREAS, during his years of service with the Ingham County Sheriff's Office, James Mills has been assigned to corrections, court services, traffic, community policing, marine patrol and general law enforcement; and
WHEREAS, Deputy James Mills is the recipient of two community service awards from the Holt VFW and a Service Award from the Parent/Migrant Advisory Committee in Stockbridge; and
WHEREAS, on February 28, 2001, after 25 years of dedicated service, Deputy James Mills retired from his position at the Ingham County Sheriff's Office.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby honor Deputy James Mills for his many years of service to the County of Ingham and its citizens.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board wishes him continued success in his future endeavors.
