INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT FOR

FINISH GRADING AND PAVING PHASE I CONSTRUCTION AT HAWK ISLAND COUNTY PARK

RESOLUTION #01-140

WHEREAS, a Master Plan has been created to guide future development of Hawk Island County Park; and

WHEREAS, Ingham County Board of Commissioners' Resolution #94-192 appropriated and reserved county funds for this purpose; and

WHEREAS, sealed bids were solicited and evaluated by the Ingham County Purchasing Department and it is their recommendation, with concurrence of the Ingham County Parks Department, to award the contract to Aggregate Industries, the firm submitting the lowest bid.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby accepts the bid, and authorizes entering into a contract with Aggregate Industries in the amount not exceeding $444,921.50.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the County Attorney to prepare the necessary documents for the Board Chairperson and the County Clerk authorized to sign the same.
