INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT WITH LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTS AND PLANNERS, INC. TO PROVIDE A STREETSCAPE STUDY FOR THE CITY OF WILLIAMSTON DOWNTOWN DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY

RESOLUTION #01-219

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Economic Development Corporation has an ongoing contractual agreement with the City of Williamston DDA to provide consulting services and economic development assistance; and

WHEREAS, the funds for this contract are available within the EDC special projects budget; and

WHEREAS, the Purchasing Department solicited proposals for a streetscape study, the proposals were reviewed by the Purchasing Department, Economic Development Corporation, and the Williamston DDA; and

WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of both the Purchasing Department, Economic Development Corporation, and the Williamston DDA that a contract be awarded to Landscape Architects and Associates, Inc. who submitted the lowest responsive proposal to provide a streetscape study for the Williamston DDA for a total cost not exceeding $11,800.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes entering into a contract with Landscape Architects and Associates, Inc., Oakland Center, Suite 1, 809 Center Street, Lansing, Michigan 48906 to provide a streetscape study for the Williamston DDA for a total cost not exceeding $11,800.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the County Attorney to prepare the necessary documents with the Board Chairperson and County Clerk to sign the same.
