INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION TO ACCEPT A $50.00 CHECK FROM THE

COLONIAL VILLAGE BAPTIST CHURCH FOR USE BY THE

INGHAM COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE DIVE TEAM

RESOLUTION #01-267

WHEREAS, Deputy Timothy Horvath gave a presentation to children at the Colonial Village Baptist Church in Lansing, Michigan; and

WHEREAS, members of the church were appreciative of the presentation; and

WHEREAS, a check for $50.00 was sent to Deputy Horvath to be used for the Ingham County Sheriff's Office Dive Team.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Ingham County Sheriff's Office to accept the $50.00 check from the Colonial Village Baptist Church.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the $50.00 will be used for purchases for the Ingham County Sheriff's Office Dive Team.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners is appreciative of the Colonial Village Baptist Church for their donation.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Controller to make any necessary adjustments in the Ingham County Sheriff's Office 2001 Budget.
