INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING THE APPOINTMENT OF BRUCE BRAGG TO THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE OF THE CAPITAL AREA HEALTH ALLIANCE AND THE APPOINTMENT OF LARRY LEATHERWOOD TO THE CAPITAL AREA HEALTH ALLIANCE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

RESOLUTION #01-28

WHEREAS, a representative of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and the Ingham County Health Department serve on the Board of Directors of the Capital Area Health Alliance; and

WHEREAS, Ingham County contributes substantial support for the activities of the Capital Area Health Alliance through the Ingham County Health Department; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners is also interested in community representation on the Board of Directors of the Health Alliance.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners recommends that Ingham County be represented on the Executive Committee of the Capital Area Health Alliance through the appointment of Bruce Bragg.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board recommends that Larry Leatherwood, Chairperson of the African American Health Institute, be appointed to serve on the Capital Area Health Alliance Board of Directors as a community member.
