RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION #01-279, RESOLUTION OF INTENT TO CREATE AND PROVIDE FOR THE OPERATION OF A BROWNFIELD REDEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY TO AMEND THE PUBLIC HEARING DATE
RESOLUTION #01-295
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Act, this Board of Commissioners is required (a) to hold a public hearing on the adoption of a proposed resolution creating a Brownfield Redevelopment Authority under the Act (the "Authority") and (b) to publish notice of the public hearing in a newspaper of general circulation in the County of Ingham all in accordance with Section 4 (2) of the Act; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to change the public hearing date to allow for sufficient notification in a newspaper of general circulation.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Resolution 01-279 is hereby amended to change the public hearing date to November 13, 2001.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a public hearing shall be held before the Board of Commissioners on November 13, 2001, at 7:30 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners Room, Ingham County Courthouse, Mason, on the adoption of a resolution creating the Authority within the territorial limits of the County of Ingham in which the Authority shall exercise its powers.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Clerk of the County of Ingham (the "Clerk") shall give notice to the public of the public hearing by causing notice to be published, in the form attached hereto as Sample B - Exhibit 1, in a newspaper of general circulation in the County of Ingham at least 20 and 22 full days, on two occasions, prior to the date set for said hearing, and by posting notice of the public hearing, in the form attached hereto as Sample B - Exhibit 2, pursuant to the practice of the Clerk.

PUBLIC ACTS OF THE STATE OF MICHIGAN OF 1996, AS AMENDED
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT a Public Hearing shall be held before the Board of Commissioners of the County of Ingham on the 13th of November, 2001, at 7:30 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners' Room, Courthouse, Mason, Michigan, on the adoption of a proposed resolution establishing a brownfield redevelopment authority for the County of Ingham within the territorial limits of which the Authority shall exercise its powers, all pursuant to and in accordance with the provisions of the Brownfield Redevelopment Finance Act, being Act 381 of the Public Acts of the State of Michigan of 1996, as amended.
