RESOLUTION HONORING ROBERT K. HOSLEY

RESOLUTION #01-366

WHEREAS, Robert K. Hosley served in the Navy from March 1, 1945 to April 1, 1946, during World War II; and

WHEREAS, in 1946, the Ingham County Michigan Veterans Trust Fund was established; and

WHEREAS, on July 1, 1946, Robert became one of the original Ingham County members on this Committee and continues to serve as a member to this day; and

WHEREAS, since its inception, the Veterans Trust Fund committee has processed 22,165 applications, approving 15,981, granting over two million dollars in benefits to needy veterans and their families; and

WHEREAS, for the past 20 years, Robert also volunteered for the Mobile Meals through Sparrow Hospital delivering meals to seniors for the past 20 years.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby honor Robert K. Hosley for his 55 years of service with the Ingham County Michigan Veterans Trust Fund and for the many contributions he has made to the citizens of the County of Ingham.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board wishes him continued success in his future endeavors.
