RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A REORGANIZATION WITHIN THE PROSECUTING ATTORNEY'S OFFICE INTAKE DIVISION



RESOLUTION #01-384



WHEREAS, the Prosecuting Attorney is committed to providing appropriate staff training and consistency in staff policies and procedures for new intake personnel of the Prosecuting Attorney's Office and as such has restructured one of the Warrant Clerk positions to include additional duties and responsibilities to be titled Intake Coordinator, and



WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department has evaluated this change and recommends that the title of the Warrant Clerk be changed to Intake Coordinator - Prosecuting Attorney and the red-lined salary grade level of UAW 8 be changed to UAW Level G.



THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners approves a reorganization within the Prosecuting Attorney's Office Intake Division effective the date of the first pay period after the passage of this resolution.



BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Warrant Clerk position be changed to Intake Coordinator - Prosecuting Attorney, UAW Level G, and that the additional monies from 2001 be taken from the existing Prosecuting Attorney's personnel budget to fund the additional salary increase.



BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the additional costs of $3,578 for 2002 will be taken from the 2002 Contingency Fund.



BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Controller is authorized to amend the Prosecuting Attorney's 2001 and 2002 budgets and position allocation list consistent with this resolution.
