RESOLUTION INCREASING THE MEMBERSHIP OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL AFFAIRS COMMISSION TO ADD A ROAD COMMISSION DESIGNEE



RESOLUTION #01-84



WHEREAS, Resolution 95-58 established the Environmental Affairs Commission to examine and make environmental improvement recommendations regarding County-owned and maintained properties; and



WHEREAS, the Commission consists of nine members, one of which is a Road/Parks Commission Chairperson or their designee; and

WHEREAS, when the Commission was established the Road Commissioners also served as the Board of Park Trustees, since then they have become two separate commissions; and



WHEREAS, the Environmental Affairs Commission feels that a representative from the Road Commission would prove to be a valuable asset due to the volume of environmental activities which the Road Commission is responsible for.



THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby amend Resolution 95-58 to increase the membership of the Environmental Affairs Commission from 9 to 10 members to include the Road Commission Chairperson or his/her designee.
