RESOLUTION HONORING KAY HOUSEMAN
RESOLUTION #02-158
WHEREAS, Kay Houseman began her career with Ingham County in December, 1979 as a temporary General Clerk with the Circuit Court; and
WHEREAS, throughout the years Kay has been promoted to Deputy Clerk I, Deputy Clerk II, Deputy Clerk III and Clerical Services Supervisor, the position she currently holds; and
WHEREAS, during her years of service with the County, Kay proved to be a valuable employee, one who was always willing to go the extra mile and a great asset to the Court system; and
WHEREAS, in 1984, she was recognized by the Court Administrator for her efforts in assuming new and greater responsibilities; and
WHEREAS, Kay assisted in the Court Reorganization process for Circuit and Family Division which was implemented in 1998, participating in the coordination of cross training staff for this project; and
WHEREAS, with over 21 years of service with Ingham County, Kay Houseman will be retiring from her position with Circuit Court.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby honor Kay Houseman for her commitment and dedication to the County of Ingham and its citizens, and for the significant impact she has had on the operation of the court system throughout the years.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners extends its best wishes to Kay and hopes for continued success in all of her future endeavors.
