RESOLUTION TO ESTABLISH TWO PART-TIME POSITIONS IN THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT

RESOLUTION #02-292

WHEREAS, the Health Department currently has a vacant full-time Community Health Representative II (HLHNUR031) position; and

WHEREAS, the position is assigned to work in two different locations in the Health Department; and

WHEREAS, it has been determined that in order to best serve the needs of the two clinics within the Health Department, that two half time positions be created, Community Health Representative II and a Clinic Assistant/Technician I (UAW D);

WHEREAS, there are no budgetary effects to the recommended change and the recommendation is support by the Director of Community Health Services; and

WHEREAS, the Health Officer has recommended that the Board of Commissioners authorize the recommended change of one Community Health Representative II position (HLHNUR031), into two part-time positions, Community Health Representative II and a Clinic Assistant/Technician .

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners establish two part-time positions, Community Health Representative II and a Clinic Assistant/Technician I within the Health Department, effective December 10, 2002.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Community Health Representative II position (HLHNUR031) be eliminated effective December 10, 2002.
