RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION #02-028 AUTHORIZING AMENDMENTS TO THE 2002 BUDGET

RESOLUTION #02-37

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners amended the 2002 Budget in light of unanticipated decreases in revenues; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners wishes to make additional reductions.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Resolution #02-028 is amended to provide that the short term reductions totaling $1,977,203 are increased by $2,150 by making the following adjustments:

Board of Commissioners Office budget:

Out of state travel for Commissioners - reduce from $8,000 to $4,500 = ($3,500)

Special Projects - increase from $2,500 to $3,500 = $ 1,000

Employee Training - increase from $ -0- to $350 = $ 350

Total ($2,150)

Total Reductions:

-increase from $1,977,203 to $1,979,353 = $2,150

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that County Commissioners will not be reimbursed from this budget for out of state travel expenses for the remainder of 2002.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Controller is authorized to make the necessary budget adjustments.
