RESOLUTION TO CONTINUE THE POSITION OF PROJECT COORDINATOR IN THE DRAIN COMMISSIONER'S OFFICE

RESOLUTION #98-121

WHEREAS, the Drain Commissioner's Office needs a Projects Coordinator to work with contractors and engineers on numerous petition projects; and

WHEREAS, the Office has established a countywide Density Inspection testing requirement for storm pipe installation in new platted areas; and

WHEREAS, the current holder of this position has the requisite training skills to carry out both these project areas; and

WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department had previously established the position of Projects Coordinator at a P5 salary.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners hereby approves the continuation of a Projects Coordinator's position in the Drain Commissioner budget to be funded by density inspection fees charged to the developer and charge backs to various petitioned drain projects through December 31, 1999, contingent upon the formation of the drainage district.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Controller be authorized to make any necessary budget adjustments.
