RESOLUTION HONORING DEPUTY HARVEY CLARK

RESOLUTION #98-134

WHEREAS, Deputy Harvey Clark began his employment with the Ingham County Sheriff's Office in May of 1982 as a Corrections Officer working in the Jail and Receiving; and

WHEREAS, in 1986 Deputy Clark was assigned as Identification Officer, in 1992 he was assigned to the Staff Services Division as a Quartermaster/Evidence Custodian; and

WHEREAS, prior to his employment with Ingham County, Harvey Clark was employed with the Michigan State University Department of Police and Public Safety from October 1967 through November, 1977 where he was assigned to Road Patrol duties; and

WHEREAS, from November, 1977 through March 1981, he worked for the Michigan Office of Services to the Aging where he was appointed as a Program Manager of the Governor's Task Force to study the causes and effects of crimes against older Americans and to formulate programs designed to prevent these crimes; and

WHEREAS, on June 1, 1998, Harvey Clark retired from his position at the Ingham County Sheriff's Office.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby honor Deputy Harvey Clark for his many years of service to the County of Ingham and its citizens.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board wishes him continued success in his future endeavors.
