INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INGHAM COUNTY HOUSING COMMISSION TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT FOR ARCHITECTURAL SERVICES WITH JAMES E. CHILDS & ASSOCIATES, INC.

RESOLUTION #98-143

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Housing Commission has accepted a 1997 Comprehensive Improvement Assistance Program (CIAP) grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for needed improvements to Carriage Lane Apartments; and

WHEREAS, the Housing Commission has received a proposal from James E. Childs & Associates, Inc. In the amount of $23,870 to provide the needed basic architectural services on said grant.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby authorize the Housing Commission to enter into a contract with James E. Childs & Associates to provide architectural services for the 1997 CIAP grant.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Executive Director of the Housing Commission is hereby authorized to sign the appropriate documents upon review of the county attorney as to form.
