RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF A MOTOROLA COMMAND PLUS RADIO CONSOLE AT THE INGHAM COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE FOR EMERGENCY DISPATCH COMMUNICATIONS

RESOLUTION #98-160

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners has established a 911 Emergency Telephone Dispatch Services fund for Management and System Improvements to the County emergency dispatch system; and

WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Office and their communications vendor State Electronics have developed a proposal to replace a outdated radio console.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the expenditure of up to $9,055 from the 911 Emergency Telephone Dispatch Services fund for the purchase and installation of a Motorola Command Plus radio console from State Electronics.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairperson of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and the County Clerk are authorized to sign any necessary contract documents consistent with this resolution and approved as to form by the County Attorney.
