RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE AN AMENDMENT TO THE WKAR-TV AGREEMENT

RESOLUTION #98-175

WHEREAS, MSU WKAR-TV has a contract with Ingham County to obtain the services of the Office for Young Children to develop child care provider training materials and outreach activities for WKAR-TV programming; and

WHEREAS, MSU WKAR-TV proposes to extend these services provided by the County during the period July 1, 1998 through June 30, 1999; and

WHEREAS, the Health Officer recommends that the Board of Commissioners authorize the agreement with MSU WKAR-TV.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes an amendment to the agreement with MSU WKAR-TV, originally authorized in Resolution 97-165.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the amendment shall specify the services to be provided through the Ingham County Health Department's Office for Young Children during the period of July 1, 1998 through June 30, 1999 and that WKAR-TV will pay Ingham County $10,000 during this period for the services.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board Chairperson is authorized to sign the amendment after review by the County Attorney.
