RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING BENEFITS FOR OTHER THAN FULL-TIME MANAGERIAL AND CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEES

RESOLUTION #98-2

WHEREAS, Managerial and Confidential positions have been established that are other than full-time positions; and

WHEREAS, the Managerial/Confidential Personnel Manual only addresses benefits for full-time employees; and

WHEREAS, other than full-time benefits need to be established in the Managerial/Confidential Personnel Manual.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the following benefits be provided to part-time employees covered under the Managerial/Confidential Personnel Manual:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that shared-time employees shall be afforded the same benefits as indicated above except that they shall also be eligible for one-half of the longevity payment.

RESOLUTION #98-2

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that three-quarter-time employees shall be allotted the same benefits as indicated for part-time employees except that they shall be eligible for 2-person health insurance and 3/4ths of the sick and vacation accumulations and 15 hours of vacation bonus time annually.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Harold Hailey, Human Resources Director, is recommending this action as being in the best interest of the County.
