RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH MILLAR ELEVATOR
SERVICE COMPANY FOR A FULL SERVICE ELEVATOR MAINTENANCE
AGREEMENT AT THE GRADY J. PORTER BUILDING
RESOLUTION #98-239
WHEREAS, the current elevator maintenance agreement for the (3) traction passenger elevators at
the Grady J. Porter Building has expired; and
WHEREAS, the Purchasing & Properties Department solicited and reviewed proposals for a full-service elevator maintenance agreement for the (3) traction passenger elevators at the Grady J. Porter
Building located in the Grady J. Porter Building; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Purchasing & Properties Department that a contract be
awarded to Millar Elevator Service Company who submitted the lowest responsive proposal for a
(5) year full-service elevator maintenance agreement for a cost of $31,987.71.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes
entering into a contract with Millar Elevator Service Company, 4600 N. Grand River Suite D,
Lansing, MI 48906, for a (5) year full-service elevator maintenance agreement for a total cost of
$31,981.71.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the
County Attorney to prepare the necessary documents with the Board Chairperson and County Clerk
to sign the same.
