FOR APPROVED RENOVATIONS TO CARRIAGE LANE APARTMENTS

RESOLUTION #98-253

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Housing Commission has received funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development for repairs and renovations to Carriage Lane Apartments; and

WHEREAS, bids were requested, received and evaluated for the portion of the funding as follows, cleaning of ducts for kitchen and bathroom exhaust fans and the replacement of those fans, upgrading emergency call system, replacing domestic water piping, hydronic heating equipment and make up air units; and

WHEREAS, the Executive Director and the Architect are recommending the acceptance of the bid from Kebler Plumbing & Heating Co. in the amount of $342,750.00.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes the Ingham County Housing Commission to enter into an agreement with Kebler Plumbing & Heating Co. for repairs and renovations to Carriage Lane Apartments in the amount of $342,750.00.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Executive Director of the Housing Commission is hereby authorized to sign the appropriate documents upon approval as to form by the County Attorney.
