RESOLUTION TO APPOINT DARNELL EARLEY AS COUNTY GRANT ADMINISTRATOR FOR
THE INGHAM COUNTY REMONUMENTATION PROJECT
RESOLUTION #98-27
WHEREAS, Acts 345 and 346, P.A. 1990, state that each County in the State of Michigan shall prepare a County Monumentation and Remonumentation Plan; and
WHEREAS, the Ingham County Remonumentation Plan was submitted by the Ingham CountyBoard of Commissioners and approved by the State Survey and Remonumentation Commission on June 24, 1992; and
WHEREAS, as required by Act 345, P.A. 1990, a condition of receiving annual grant funds to implement the County Remonumentation Plan is that the County appoints a County Grant Administrator; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, upon the respectful recommendation of the Ingham County Remonumentation Committee, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners appoints Darnell Earley, Deputy Controller, upon approval of the 1998 grant application by the State Monumentation and Remonumentation Commission, for the related services of County Grant Administrator as required by Act 345, P.A. 1990.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Chairperson and County Clerk have the authority to sign said contract and the corporation counsel be directed to prepare the necessary contract.
