RESOLUTION TO INCLUDE NON-UNION PARKS DEPARTMENT EMPLOYEES TO THE MANAGERIAL AND CONFIDENTIAL EMPLOYEE PERSONNEL MANUAL

RESOLUTION #98-3

WHEREAS, on July 1, 1997, by resolution, employees of the Parks Department became County Employees under the jurisdiction of the County Board of Commissioners; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners desires to make these employees a part of the County's Managerial and Confidential Employee Personnel Manual; and

WHEREAS, the Human Resources Director has recommended that the following classifications be assigned to Salary Levels and Steps as listed below.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that non-union Park employees be placed in the Managerial and Confidential Employee Personnel Manual effective the first pay period of the calendar year (12/20/97).

RESOLUTION #98-3

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that current employees in this group will maintain their current retirement plan at no cost to the employees, and that any new employees hired after 1/1/98 will have the same Retirement Plan as required by the Managerial and Confidential Employees Personnel Manual.
