RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENTERING INTO AN AMENDED CONTRACT WITH THE OFFICE OF DRUG CONTROL POLICY FOR THE 1997-1998 HAYFORD STREET CLINIC PROGRAM

RESOLUTION #98-35

WHEREAS, an amended Resolution (#97-312) authorized entering into a contract with the Office of Drug Control Policy for the 1997-1998 Hayford Street Clinic Program for a total amount of $508,007, of which $381,005 were federal grant funds and $127,002 were local match funds to be generated by program fees; and

WHEREAS, the contract amounts ultimately offered by the Office of Drug Control Policy are a total amount of $289,634 for juvenile testing with $217,226 in federal grant funds with $72,408 in local match funds to be generated by program fees; and

WHEREAS, the non-grant adult testing portion of the budget is $218,293 for a total project budget of $507,927 consisting of $217,226 in federal grant funds with $290,701 in local funds to be generated by program fees.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners amends Resolution #97-312 to authorize entering into a contract with the Office of Drug Control Policy for the 1997-1998 Hayford Street Clinic Program in the amount of $289,634, of which $217,226 are federal grant funds with $72,408 in local match funds to be generated by program fees.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the entire project budget will total $507,927 consisting of $217,226 in federal grant funds with $290,701 in local funds to be generated by program fees.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Controller is authorized to make the necessary adjustments to the appropriate 1998 budgets consistent with this resolution.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board Chairperson and County Clerk are authorized to sign the contract upon approval as to form by the County Attorney.
