RESOLUTION TO CREATE A SALARY GRADE FOR THE ASSISTANT

PARK MANAGER POSITION



RESOLUTION #98-41



WHEREAS, an Assistant Park Manager position was established within the 1998 Parks budget; and



WHEREAS, the Human Resources Department has assessed that this position rightfully falls under the AFSCME contract; and



WHEREAS, the duties of this position dictate that the salary fall between the Park Manager I and Park Ranger II levels.



THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners approves the new Assistant Park Manager position (i.e., Position # PKUN7) under the AFSCME contract at 1998 step levels as follows: Step 1 = $28,157; Step 2 = $29,496; Step 3 = $30,797; Step 4 = $32,128; Step 5 = $33,460; and Step 6 = $34,840.



BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Controller to make the necessary budget and position allocation list adjustments.
