RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS FROM THE CONTINGENCY FUND TO FUND SHERIFF'S OFFICE COMMUNICATION EQUIPMENT

RESOLUTION #98-46

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Sheriff's Office has identified the need to replace communication equipment at the jail; and

WHEREAS, the County's vendor, State Electronics Inc., has identified that a new "Midland Repeater" is necessary to facilitate radio communications for Corrections Officers; and

WHEREAS, sufficient funds were not budgeted within the Sheriffs Office's to fund this project.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes the Controller to make the following budgetary transfers to the 1998 Ingham County Sheriffs Office budget in order to purchase and install a new Midland Repeater to facilitate radio communications within the jail:
