INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE AWARD OF PROPOSAL

AND ENTERING INTO A CONTRACT FOR A SANITARY SERVICE STATION

RESOLUTION #98-84

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Fairgrounds is in need of a sanitary service station; and

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Fair Board has a $20,000 budget for the sanitary service station in the 1998 Capital Improvement budget of which $1,200 has already been paid to Wolverine Engineers for preparation of plans and specifications; and

WHEREAS, proposals were solicited and evaluated by Ingham County Purchasing and Properties Department and it is their recommendation, with concurrence of the Ingham County Fair Board, to award a contract to Myers Plumbing and Heating, Inc., the firm submitting the lowest responsive proposal.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby approves the award of proposal and authorizes entering into a contract with Myers Plumbing and Heating, in the amount of $16,076.29, for a sanitary service station at the Ingham County Fairgrounds.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes the County Attorney to prepare the necessary documents with the Board Chairperson and the County Clerk authorized to sign the same.
