RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE A REORGANIZATION IN THE BOARD OF
COMMISSIONERS' OFFICE
RESOLUTION #98-88
WHEREAS, the Chair of the Board of Commissioners has recommended implementation of a reorganization which will broaden the functions and services and create a more responsible Board Office; and
WHEREAS, the proposed reorganization will result in the change of title from Administrative Aide to Board Coordinator and will increase the salary grade from a Confidential P4 to a Confidential P6 as well as increasing supervisory duties with the addition of the Secretary Women's Commission/Equal Opportunity Committee position; and
WHEREAS, the Human Resources' Department has reviewed the position questionnaire and job description of the affected position and due to the proposed changes recommends the increased classification level for the affected position; and
WHEREAS, the potential financial effect of the upgraded position will be $7,375 plus benefits.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Administrative Aide (position #BOCADM001) C:P4 be upgraded to Board Coordinator C:P6 effective payroll period following approval by the Board of Commissioners.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Controller is authorized to make the necessary adjustments to implement this resolution.
