RESOLUTION TO ADOPT THE FAIR BOARD SEASONAL EMPLOYEE 1999 WAGE SCHEDULE



RESOLUTION #99-008



WHEREAS, the Ingham County Fair Board desires to be competitive within the temporary job market and to retain exceptional seasonal employees; and



WHEREAS, the Ingham County Fair Board has recommended the following wage schedule for its seasonal employees.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners adopts the following seasonal wage rates effective January 1, 1999, as recommended by the Fair Board:



FAIR WEEK

Ticket Sellers and Takers:

First Year = Current Minimum Wage

Subsequent Years = 25 cents per hour increase to a maximum of $10.00/hr.



Office Clerks / Grounds Maintenance

First Year = $6.00 / hr.

A higher starting rate can be paid based on 50 cents per hour for each year of experience to a maximum of $10.00/hr.

Subsequent Years = $1.00/hr. increase to a maximum of $10.00/hr.





NON-FAIR SEASON



Grounds Maintenance

First Year = $6.00/hr.

A higher starting rate can be paid based on 50 cents per hour for each year of experience to a maximum of $10.00/hr.

Subsequent Years = $1.00/hr. increase to a maximum of $10.00/hr.
