INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION APPROVING THE NON-SUPERVISORY FOP/LAW ENFORCEMENT COLLECTIVE BARGAINING AGREEMENT

RESOLUTION #99-136

WHEREAS, a tentative agreement has been achieved between representatives of the Fraternal Order of Police, the Sheriff, and the County on a Collective Bargaining Agreement for January 1, 1999 through December 31, 1999 covering the non-supervisory law enforcement employees and corrections' officers of the Sheriff's Office; and

WHEREAS, the changes to the current Agreement have been ratified by the employees within that bargaining unit; and

WHEREAS, the changes have been approved by the Administrative Services/Personnel and Finance Committees; and

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the 1999 contract is hereby approved and the Chairperson of the Board of Commissioners is authorized to sign it on behalf of the County, after approval of the contract by the County Attorney. Further, no retro pay shall be given until the contract is signed by all parties.
