RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ENTERING INTO A FIVE-YEAR CONTRACT WITH NELSON TRANE FOR A FULL SERVICE AGREEMENT ON THE MCQUAY RECIPROCATING CHILLER AT THE HUMAN SERVICES BUILDING

WHEREAS, the current contract for full service on the McQuay Reciprocating Chiller at the Human Services

Building has expired, and

WHEREAS, the funds for this full service agreement are available within the Human Services Building operating fund; and

WHEREAS, the Purchasing & Properties Department has solicited and reviewed proposals for a five-year full service agreement on the McQuay Chiller at the Human Services Building; and

WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Purchasing & Properties Department that a five-year contract be awarded to Nelson Trane who submitted the lowest responsive proposal for a full service agreement on the McQuay Reciprocating Chiller at the Human Services Building in the amount of $3,280.00 annually, $16,400.00 for five years.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes a five-year contract to be awarded to Nelson Trane, 5335 Hill 23 Drive, Flint, Michigan 48507 for a full service agreement on the McQuay Chiller at the Human Services Building for a total five year cost of $16,400.00, $3,280.00 annually, which will be taken from budgeted funds in the Purchasing & Properties maintenance budget.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the County Attorney to prepare the necessary documents with the Board Chairperson and County Clerk to sign the same.
