RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH THE WARNER GROUP FOR VOICE RADIO COMMUNICATIONS SYSTEMS PROJECT MANAGEMENT SERVICES

RESOLUTION #99-181

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Board of Commissioners has authorized several system-wide enhancements to the 911 Emergency Telephone Dispatch System; and

WHEREAS, a critical need is an upgrade of the county-wide Radio Communication System; and

WHEREAS, the 911 Advisory Board is recommending The Warner Group as the project manager for the upgrade to the county-wide Radio Communication System.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes a contract with The Warner Group for Voice Radio Communications Systems project management services as outlined in their June 12, 1999 Voice Radio Communications Systems proposal at a cost not to exceed $193,000 for the time period of August 1, 1999 through January 30, 2000.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Chairperson of the Ingham County Board of Commissioners and the County Clerk are authorized to sign any necessary contract documents consistent with this resolution and approved as to form by the County Attorney.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the funds will come from the 911 Emergency Telephone Dispatch Services System Improvement budget.
