INGHAM COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE COMPUTER ENHANCEMENT AT THE

DELHI SHERIFF'S OFFICE

RESOLUTION #99-183

WHEREAS, the Ingham County Sheriff's Office has a Substation in Delhi Township; and

WHEREAS, the Delhi Township Substation to the Ingham County Sheriff's Office has experienced some operational problems that can be resolved with the addition of a high speed connection to the County Network; and

WHEREAS, MIS and the Sheriff's Office have agreed to this solution.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the expenditure of up to $4,650 from contingency funds to make the necessary upgrades in the computer system at the Delhi Substation as follows:

1. $350 .00 for installation

2. $1,500 .00 for the two csu/dsu units

3. $2,799.72 ($ 466.62 per month for a six month period for the remainder of 1999)

Total costs: $4,650

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Board Chairperson and Clerk to sign any necessary T1 Lines Lease/contract documents.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Controller's Office to make the necessary adjustments in the Ingham County Sheriff's Office 1999 Budget.
