RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR THE VITAL RECORDS SYSTEM IN THE COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE



RESOLUTION #99-191



WHEREAS, the County Clerk's office is replacing the existing vital records system that was installed in 1998 with the Cris+plus system from Eagle Computers Systems, Inc; and



WHEREAS, some additional equipment will be required that was not factored into the original purchase price of the shared system which will be replacing the existing Perceptics system.



THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby authorizes the necessary funds to purchase additional equipment as required to fully replace the existing Perceptics system and designates the equipment as follows:



One (1) additional receipt printer for the Mason office at a cost of $560.00

One (1) additional label printer for the Mason office at a cost of $375.00

Three (3) additional license fees at $2,750 each, for a total of $8,250.



BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this additional equipment shall be taken from county contingency funds, and shall not exceed $9,185 for completion of the project.



BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board Chairperson and County Clerk are authorized to sign the necessary contract documents after approval as to form by the County Attorney.
