RESOLUTION TO ENTER INTO A TWO YEAR AGREEMENT WITH

LANSING-MASON AMBULANCE SERVICE FOR AMBULATORY

TRANSPORTATION OF INMATES FROM THE INGHAM COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE



RESOLUTION #99-208



WHEREAS, the Agreement between the Ingham County Sheriff's Office and Lansing-Mason Area Ambulance has expired; and



WHEREAS, the current arrangement between the two entities has been acceptable to both parties; and



WHEREAS, the current Agreement provides for a provision to extend the Agreement for an additional two years; and



WHEREAS, both parties respectfully request the Agreement to be extended as noted in Article XI of the current contract.



WHEREAS, the current fees emergency transport services will remain in effect for the duration of this contract extension as follows:



a. ONE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($100.00) per call for basic mobile emergency care service.



b. ONE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($100.00) per call for limited advanced mobile emergency care service.



c. ONE HUNDRED AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($100.00) per call for advanced mobile emergency care service.



d. FIFTY AND NO/100 DOLLARS ($50.00) per call for cadaver transportation.



THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners approves an additional two-year extension of the Agreement between the Ingham County Sheriff's Office and Lansing-Mason Area Ambulance from July 1, 1999 through June 30, 2001.



BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners authorizes the Board Chairperson and the County Clerk to sign any necessary contract documents consistent with this resolution and subject to approval as to form by the County Attorney.
