RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION #77-174 AND #80-210 CREATING THE INGHAM COUNTY ENERGY COMMISSION

RESOLUTION #99-216

WHEREAS, Resolution #77-174 created the Ingham County Energy Commission, which was subsequently amended by Resolution #80-210; and

WHEREAS, due to a decline in membership and inactivity, the Energy Commission has not met since 1996; and

WHEREAS, the Board of Commissioners has determined that the work for which the Energy Commission was established has been completed and has resulted in a continuing effective awareness of energy related issues in Ingham County.

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Ingham County Board of Commissioners hereby rescind Resolutions #77-174 and #88-210 creating the Ingham County Energy Commission.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Board of Commissioners extend its sincere gratitude to the citizens who have served on this commission.
