RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A REORGANIZATION IN THE
FINANCIAL SERVICES DEPARTMENT
RESOLUTION #99-218
WHEREAS, the dynamic nature of the County's fiscal operations generates continuing demand for fiscal review, oversight, and corrective action; and
WHEREAS, the Financial Services Department can be more responsive to these needs with an additional half-time accountant; and
WHEREAS, operational efficiencies within the Financial Services Department permits funding a half-time accountant by eliminating a vacant Account Clerk Position, resulting in an initial net initial savings of $23,527.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that position number FINSRV006, Account Clerk/Financial Services (UAW TOPS Grade D) shall be eliminated and a half-time Accountant (ICEA Grade P4) shall be added to the Financial Services Department Budget.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Controller shall be authorized to make the necessary budget changes.
